___2006!
The year 2005 ended quietly for me. I was rotting at home, pathetically trying to make my countdown as exciting as possible by watching the fireworks on TV. haha. I was too tired to be excited about the coming of the new year because I had spent the day packing my things. So I didn't even want to go down to the esplanade.
The first day of 2006 was spent EATING. Gosh what a pig I am. I went with my family to Jack's Place in the afternoon for lunch, then for dinner we went to a place called Hongkong Street in the West Coast area to have XO fish bee hoon! Ahh the fish bee hoon was simply fantastic! Too bad I don't have the habit of bringing my camera out for meals, if not I would have pictures! hahas.
2005 was a year spent adapting. I must say that it was a great year afterall. I found really good friends and spent a very fulfilling and happy time in NJ band. I'm glad I came to NJ, no matter how boring the academic system might be. I think 2006 will be a year of being busy. Besides the major obstacle of the 'A'-Levels, there will be our annual band concert Etude which is going to be held at the esplanade! It's going to be an exciting year, although I really dread the exams and the studying. I still can't believe that I'm officially a J2 now.
