Haha adrian!! You didn't remind me to go offline before 12.30 am!! I forgot all about my promise to do so. wahaha.
The common tests are officially over! I realise I've lost that tad of adrenaline that exams used to give me, to the extent that I've been staring at the clock throughout most of my papers, simply waiting for everything to be over. Oh well, at least I managed to complete my papers. I'm feeling so liberated now.
I was so darn happy that there was band today! Really couldn't stop the smile that kept plastering itself on my face. hahas. I think I looked like a retard. A perfectly happy retard though! It was good to be among band people again, to be able to practise our Etude songs. I shall tell myself to drill the rhythms for Tijuana Samba and Cry of the Celts into my head. I really want to play properly!
I felt really guilty when I asked my dad to wait for me for such a long time at NIE today. Yet he didn't get angry at all! Sometimes I realise how much he loves me, just that he doesn't show it, and it's only through his extreme patience that I see it.
Whees Etude here we come!!!! It's like I've waited so long for such a tortorous week of common tests to be over, just for this moment to announce the imminent arrival of our concert in 5 days! We shall do ourselves proud! I can just imagine us as a band up there on stage, playing in perfect harmony, and enjoying the music that we produce. Feeling so much excitement in me now!!
