___weekend!

I had quite a happening weekend! hahas.

I attended the NJCO concert on Friday. They played really well! I thought the balance was very good, and the soloists were really captivating. What's more, the choir's singing was great too! Really added to the climax of the songs.

On Saturday, there was AGM and V-nite. I think AGM had been postponed for too long to give us any feelings of sad departure, so no-one was touched to the extent of crying. But here I would really like to express my gratitude to the seniors for making NJ band such a wonderful place, for allowing me to love the band so deeply because I see how you all love the band. It'll be so different without you people in the band, and I think 7 months is too short a time for us to play together. Yet this period of time has been an unforgettable experience of my life, and I think you seniors have played a very important part in allowing me to grow in my role as a band member.

V-nite was rather fun! It's quite a funny thing to wear prom dresses to school, and I was so afraid I would fall into the pond, but I didn't! hahas. The "dong fang bu bai" game was hilarious. Just imagine the band guys being cross-dressed, complete with fake boobs, makeup and heels! Oh my, it was really funny watching them hobble in heels! They looked like they were about to sprain their ankles. Now they know how tough-going it is for us girls right? hahas.

Another chapter of NJ band life has passed, and I guess we have to get used to the lack of presence of the seniors around. It'll feel strange, but I think we have to learn to be independent. I really hope percussion can work harmoniously as a section, and amaze people with our coolness. And that NJ band will stun the school each morning with perfect renditions of the national anthem and college anthem.

Oh yah, I brought chong to church on Sunday! I hope she didn't think it too boring (although I felt it was too long and was already about to doze off), and that she'll come back again. I pray for God to work in her life! Just like He has in mine.
