This week has been rather eventful indeed. Friday was such a heartrending day. The posting of the classes came out, and a few people had to leave A02. The whole class was in distress. It made me so sad to see so many people in such depressed moods. Sorry A02, if I did not do anything much to help in the petition and stuff concerning it. I think I was being rational about everything. I know it hurts, I know that it definitely isn't easy for the people who left, but perhaps I had been mentally preparing myself for this day all the while. Be strong, my dear class. I love all of you so much that it hurts me to see the once-cheerful class become so depressed. Take pride in the fact that we once had this experience of a perfect class. So many people didn't even get to experience this feeling of unity with their class even once in their whole life.
Saturday was much more of an upbeat day. Band practice was made fun because all the juniors in our section were talking about cute guys and my eye candies! haha. So cool. It made everything so much more interesting and the atmosphere much less tense. After band practice, a group of us [Cindy, Chong, Angela, Joanne, Kar Wai, Kirby and I!] went out for lunch. The guys were so sporting when we passed by this cologne/perfume promotion booth which required you to say "Be delicious" in a sexy voice for free gifts! Because they went up there to say exactly that! haha. We gals were laughing like crazy as we saw them go up the stage. Oh yah, we took neoprints too. It was Kirby's first time! So memorable. haha. Anyway I'm not as desperate as Joanne claims, ok! haha. Please guys, don't believe her. I was just talking a lot of crap and she fell for it.
Today, I went to see the RV band have their SYF rehearsal at Singapore Conference Hall with Cindy and Jiamin. Ahh... the feeling of returning to the band where it really is home. But I'm so worried about the juniors because they don't seem confident of their playing. What else can I say but continue working hard. Do your best for the SYF so that you won't have regrets. The band sounds good, but the nitty-gritty details are still loose ends to be tied up. I'll try my best to take off some time to help you guys. Be proud of yourselves, my dear juniors. Always know that I look upon all of you with pride. =)
