___busy busy!
Been so busy these few days, but not with serious stuff. haha. Went on a socialising spree during the weekend because I attended quite a few gatherings! =)
On Saturday, there was the NJCSB reunion dinner. The food wasn't that great, but I simply enjoyed the gathering with the band people! I just find that the band has a really nice bunch of people, especially the seniors. I am sure glad that I made the decision to join band. =D It's been a long time since I could mingle so well with such a huge group of people. Usually we tend to hang out VERY separately in cliques when there's a large group of people. But the NJ band really gives me a homely, comforting feel. I feel so welcome in band! Band really and truly rocks my world now. And percussion is like so cool! woohoo* Fallen totally in love with band.
On Sunday, I went for lunch with a few church people, followed by a primary-school mates gathering at Orchard. It was okay, and I insisted on going to Starbucks to bask in the luxury of enjoying the coffee there. haha. I'm not rich, but I love to spend. Shucks. I pity my parents sometimes. =P After some chatting around, we went to play pool (again!!). Actually it was just the guys playing. But the guys were in the majority anyway! haha. After that, I escaped before dinner so I wouldn't have to spend a huge sum on dinner again. The last time we ate at Dragon Pearl Restaurant and spent 23 bucks each! So I decided I didn't want to become broke again and went off with Mavis.
I had such a slacky but enjoyable weekend! =D I really love gatherings.
