___chinese new year eve
Had a great time today celebrating the eve of Chinese New Year at njc. =D
Really ran all the way up the stairs in the morning as I was late for band. Was totally breathless when I reached the band room. =/ The band played 2 songs in the morning to suit the Chinese New Year theme, and it was darn funny! So cute for the band to be playing chinese songs. hahaa.
Went to join my class after band, and changed into the class dress code. Black top with red tie. So COOL! =P I think my insistence (together with Karen) on the idea of this dress code paid out in the end. 05A02 won the 'Best Dressed Class' award!! We also won the 'Best Banner' award!! Woohoo! We rock big-time. =D Love ya guys! Think I'll be missing 05A02 these few days of holidays. There were lots of hugs around when we were leaving after school ended today. So touched by all the A02 pple. I really love my class! =)
Actually I feel that there isn't much of a Chinese New Year mood this year. Not as much as last year anyway. I don't know why, but the celebrations within my family seem to have toned down a lot. No more of the crazy mahjong sessions that we had last year. Not as much noise at the reunion dinner this year. Most probably tomorrow will be more fun. I mean, collecting hongbaos will always bring one into a festive mood. hahaa. And I love giving oranges to my relatives. =) No wonder they all love me. Wahahaa.
