Yep, the crossover into 2005. It has been raining both yesterday and today. Seems like the sky is pouring tears for the tsunami victims as we usher in a new year.

I stayed up for the countdown yesterday, 31 Dec 2004. Went to Boon Lay Countdown to see my idols, Qi Yuwu and Jeanette Aw. Turned out that Sly made an appearance too. My ears were blasted from all the screaming of Sly's fans. Bleahh. I pulled my mum along to the countdown, and regretted it. Had to stand 6 hrs in all just to see my idols. Sort of pitied my mum. I don't think she has stood this long before in years. =/ The countdown was seriously not fun. But the sightings of my idols made it all worthwhile anyway. =D

Hmmm... on a sadder note, I must really mention about the tsunami. Such a huge disaster indeed. I've been keeping up with the news but that's seemingly the only thing I can do. Truly, my heart goes out to them this first day of 2005. And I sort of feel guilty about celebrating while others are mourning now. Sigh. But I think life has to go on as per normal for us right?

So let me say a 'hi' to 2005 here... and a reluctant 'bye' to 2004. To me, 2004 has been a simply great year. All because of 4A'volution and all my friends there. The memories still linger in my mind, and I want to tell you guys: YOU RAWK!
