___the doggie ordeal
Gahh. I was awoken early in the morning by my dog Hope barking furiously at my dad today. I thought it was a bad enough start to the day when something else happened. My dad suddenly shouted to me that Princess, my neighbour's dog which I had eagerly offered to take care of while she was overseas, was about to poo on the dining room floor. I dashed out, grabbed her, and dumped her unceremoniously on the newspaper.
Then I realised that the poo had landed on and stuck to the fur on her backside. I tried to remove it with newspaper, but the poo just got smudged on her fur instead. It was totally disgusting. And smelly. I decided to wash off the poo and dragged Princess to the bathroom but she escaped and ran all over the house, dripping water all over the place. My dad screamed at me, I screamed at Princess and Hope just stared unblinkingly at the whole crazy scene.
When I finally caught Princess, my mum came rushing down just after her bath and helped to wash off the poo. Okay, I do admire my mum's guts. The guts to touch the poo... yucks. I thought my day was going to be peaceful after such a hectic morning and I went upstairs to continue my interrupted sleep.
But later on, I also spent dunnoe-how-long sitting in my balcony and collecting stones (used for deco purposes on the balcony floor) into plastic bags. All because Princess was into biting these stones and she might swallow them anytime. My mum said she didn't want to see Princess choking to her death, so it was all up to me to do the task of removing stones. It was quite disheartening, you know. Endless rows of stones to be cleared. Bleahh. Dogs should be given the nickname of 'troublemakers'.
